HDR shot of sunset from Denali highway. Btw- this was taken around midnight and it really doesnt get much darker than this up until sunrise which is about 4am. I quite liked the 24 hours of light, seems like you can be a lot more productive but then again you need to hibernate all winter with 20 hrs a day of darkness.
ground squirrel, Denali Park. These poor things are the prey of Fox, Eagles, wolves, bears and just about anything else that eats meat which is the reason it's always sitting up and looking around for what's coming its way. Hope he made it through the day.
